It really doesn't matter to me if Jaffe's new title is Twisted Metal, or a new IP. All I know is that he makes very fun games, and that's all I care about. :D

It could have been a simple mistake, however, you have no idea if that's the case or not. BioShock had been denied countless times that it was going for PS3, and guess what? Eventually, it hit PS3. Splinter Cell: Conviction could have the same outcome.

I wouldn't consider it desperation at all. If people are fans of the series that much, and do not own a PS3 or high-end PC, then they will probably buy an Xbox 360.

Otherwise, I'm sure PS3 owners who aren't fans of the series don't mind whether or not it's coming to the PS3 platform.

I don't think that's a hint at a future GOW game.

Considering there have only been 3 main console entries in the past 5 years, and two spin-offs, I wouldn't consider that milking at all.

I'm hoping it's a countdown for a new PSP God of War game. :)
